Each candle aroma gains inspiration from one of the many full moons in a year. Like the changing seasons and celebrations marked on the western calendar year, the lunar cycle offers a plethora of agricultural, energetic, ritualistic, symbolic, and natural cycles to draw from. The subtle blend of aromatic knowledge, cultural customs and the deep winding roads of folklore, mixed with a wild imagination makes for evocative scents to tickle all your senses.

Moon Candle: Raven: 

The raven is a magical being who whispers secrets like the wise woman. Flowing through warm thermal winds with inky black feathers and problem solving on a whim...oh the things he has held in is beak. This blend has heart notes of deep sandalwood and pure black pepper. A dash of sage Dalmatian for wisdom and baby wild rose as a romantic top note to bring it all together. For the sensuous dark.

The story of Karmen Ohme & Moon Candles: 

The creator, Karmen Ohme was born and raised in the Wenatchee Valley. Her heritage is of a long line of nature driven enthusiasts who instilled a deep and wild love for all things flora and fauna. On the other side of her family, lore has it that she is descended of a famed London perfumist by the name of Penhaligon...She relates to the world around her through all senses- and the olfactory is often her tool of choice! Growing up in an orchardist farm in the Basin Valley, she ventured to the bustling streets of L.A., to the mountains of North Carolina and to the rich green of Western Washington. Leavenworth, the little village at the base of the eastern Cascade Mountains is where she calls home.

I love the intention behind all the wonderful gifts available, I love the smell and experience in the store, I love the beauty in all the products that come with a story of how they arrived there.
