Callisia Repens is a low-growing, creeping & bushy succulent from the family Commelinaceae. It is known for its striking leaves that are a beautiful bright green on top and a shimmery light purple/pink on the underside.
Size: This plant is in a 4'' pot, and from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant, measures from around 6''.
Light: This plant prefers to be in bright, indirect light with partial shade. It can tolerate areas of less light but but will look best in indirect light.
Water: Water when the top 1/2'-1'' of the soil dries out. This plant can be susceptible to rot, so it doesn't want to sit in water or stay wet long and likes to dry out between waterings. Water sparingly in the Winter.
Humidity: Does not need high humidity.
Temperature: These do well with common indoor home temperatures of 60-75 F. It can spend warm days outdoors in indirect or highly filtered light.
Soil: Turtle Vine need well-draining potting soil to help with moisture control.
Fertilizing: We recommend fertilizing Turtle Vine in its main growing season (Spring-Fall), once a month with a diluted, balanced fertilizer.
Flower: Small & white - not showy.
Toxicity: Non-toxic to pets but may cause an allergic reaction characterized by red, itchy skin.
