Asparagus Setaceus or the Asparagus Plumosus Fern makes quite a statement with its sweet feathery, soft foliage. These plants are adaptable to many indoor environments & fairly fast-growing.
Light: This plant prefers to be indirect light and likes some shade. It should never be in direct sunlight as this could burn it.
Water: Water when the top 1/2'-1'' of the soil dries out.
Humidity: Native to regions in South Africa, this plant thrives in high humidity. It would love to be near a humidifier or sprayed regularly.
Temperature: These do well with common indoor home temperatures of 65-75 F. Do not let it get below 55 F.
Soil: Needs a well-draining potting soil. Most general potting soils should work well.
Fertilizing: Pothos aren't heavy feeders, but we recommend fertilizing in its main growing season (Spring-Fall), bimonthly with a houseplant fertilizer. We prefer our "Green Thumbs" fertilizer but any well-balanced indoor fertilizer will do.
Flower: Will likely not bloom as an indoor plant but if in its outdoors in the zone 9a-11b, it can produce a small white flower in the Fall and Summer.
Toxicity: Toxic to humans & pets if ingested. Can cause some skin irritation.
