Dischidia Ruscifolia is nicknamed "Million Hearts" because of its heart-shaped leaves that form as a vine along its stem.
Size: This plant is in a 3'' pot, and from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant, measures from around 3.5''-4.5''. As they mature, they can vine up to 3 ft long.
Light: This plant prefers to be in bright, indirect light.
Water: Water when the soil is nearly completely dry. It does store some water in its leaves and is considered drought-tolerant. It is sensitive to over-watering. If the leaves pucker, it means it needs more water.
Temperature: These do well with common indoor home temperatures of 65-75 F.
Soil: Pothos plants need well-draining potting soil and in nature, grow as epiphytes so grows attached to trees or rocks.
Fertilizing: Not a heavy feeder. For this size of plant, apply a balanced fertilizer every 1.5 months during the growing season of Spring-Fall.
Flower: They produce a small white flower, not showy.
Toxicity: Toxic to animals & humans if ingested.
