The Spring Cactus is known for its brightly-hued blossoms that appear each Spring. These eye-catching blooms range from coral to light pink, darker pink, and red. Our varieties include both the light pink and the dark pink add a welcomed pop of color to into your home during the Spring!
Size: This plant is in a 2'' pot, and from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant, measures from around 3''-5.''
Light: This plant prefers to be in bright, indirect light.
Water: Water when the soil is nearly completely dried out.
Humidity: This plant is epiphytic in nature and grows in the jungles of Brazil. It prefers higher humidity, but does well in homes with normal humidity. Please ensure it’s not near a heating or cooling vent.
Temperature: These do well with common indoor home temperatures of 65-75 F.
Soil: Because they’re epiphytes, they prefer a mixture of pumice, tree bark, and perlite.
Fertilizing: Use a balanced 10-10-10 fertilizer, diluted to half the strength only during growing season (Spring-Fall) and every two - three weeks.
Flower: Bight, showy flower. Star-shaped and radial symmetry.
Toxicity: Spring Cactus are thought to be non-toxic to pets, but we always recommend keeping your fur pals & young children away from your plant pals by putting them in a high-to-reach area.
